- Yearly Tune-ups: Have your heating system inspected each year to extend the life of your system and reduce energy use. An inspection can also prevent problems with air quality and lead to better breathing for your family.
- Ask for options: It’s important to consider both the amount of savings and efficiency one gains when replacing a home heating system. We provide a number of heating products available to install in your home. Most of our furnaces are 2-stage or modulating, meaning they can run at full or partial capacity. On a mild day this type of furnace runs longer at lower output allowing the air to be mixed optimally throughout the home, using less gas and increasing comfort. Our heat pumps also have this technology, while variable speed blowers, 2-stage outdoor units and supplemental heat strips can also increase the comfort in your home.
- Ask for an extended warranty: All major manufactures offer an extended warranty program through their brand or a third-party. After installation of your new high-efficient system, your consultant can provide information on an additional 5 or 10-year labor warranty. Warranties cover all parts AND labor costs associated with a repair for the extended warranty period, giving you peace of mind for the years ahead. Manufactures do require yearly maintenance records for your comfort system to keep the labor warranty in effect – so anticipate the cost of a yearly maintenance with an extended warranty plan.
We recommend our Simplified Comfort Plan, an annual maintenance plan to keep your HVAC system running efficiently and reduce the risk of your system encountering problems in the future.
